Service and operator

Elite Urban Inc. operates Urbanity through www.eliteurbanity.com and the iOS and Android mobile apps. Contact info@eliteurbanity.com about your personal information or to exercise your rights. The service is intended for adults aged 18 and over under its terms of use.

Information and purposes

If you choose Google or Apple sign-in, the provider supplies a sign-in identifier and authorized profile information, including your name and email when available. Google may also supply your profile picture URL. Supabase processes this information to authenticate your account and prefill your name. This sign-in does not give Urbanity access to your mailbox, Google Drive or address book. Urbanity does not receive your Google or Apple password or Face ID biometric data. Social sign-in does not automatically grant access to property records; invitation and authorization rules still apply.

Depending on your role and the features you use, we process your name, email, phone number, account identifier and property records. These include property addresses, units, leases, rent and payment status, maintenance requests, visits, inspections, messages, reports and documents, photos or videos you choose to upload. Visit records may also include a credit score, estimated income and paystub availability. We retain contact relationships created between service users; the app does not access your phone’s address book.

We use this information to manage access, provide property-management features, communicate about accounts and records, respond to requests, and protect against unauthorized or abusive use. Hosting and authentication providers also process technical logs, including IP addresses, timestamps and information needed for error diagnosis and security.

Shared records and providers

When you enable iPhone notifications, Urbanity uses Apple Push Notification service (APNs) and associates the device's notification token with your account and session. This token is used to deliver alerts, not for advertising tracking. Lock-screen text is generic; details remain inside the authenticated app. You can disable alerts in Urbanity or in iOS settings. Device registrations expire after 30 days without refresh; technical delivery records are deleted after seven days.

Property and unit records are accessible to authorized participants according to their role and relationship to the record, such as the relevant owner, manager and tenant. Avoid including unnecessary personal information in messages or attachments.

Supabase provides authentication, data and file services; Vercel hosts the website and application services; SendGrid delivers email; and Stripe processes payments. Card and bank details are entered in Stripe's hosted interface. Urbanity retains references and statuses needed for payment records. Depending on the connected account and Stripe permissions, the operator can also access limited payout-bank information, including the account holder’s name, bank name, routing identifiers and the account’s last digits. This does not mean the operator receives your full card or bank-account number. Provider terms also apply to the operations they perform.

Information may be processed outside Quebec and Canada, including in the United States, depending on hosting regions and provider operations. The property-management features described here do not implement cross-app advertising targeting.

For environments where antivirus scanning is enabled, uploaded file contents are sent to our scanning server hosted by DigitalOcean in the Toronto region of Canada. The connection is encrypted and authenticated. This analysis protects the service; it does not guarantee detection of every malicious file.

Retention and account deletion

You can request account deletion in the app's settings or on the web account-deletion page. Identity confirmation protects against unauthorized deletion. If you cannot access the account, contact info@eliteurbanity.com.

Our team processes verified requests within 30 days. It removes the login identity and personal information no longer needed, then confirms completion. If a retention obligation applies, we explain the retained categories and reason. Our team supervises fulfillment; a request does not immediately erase every shared record.

Certain lease, payment or audit information may need to remain for an applicable obligation or a specific dispute. We limit retained information and access, document the reason and retention period, and explain what remains. Retention does not automatically apply to every record. Information is deleted or appropriately anonymized when the justified period ends.

Deleting Urbanity access does not terminate a lease or automatically close a Stripe account. Active property or management responsibilities must be addressed without destroying records needed by other authorized participants.

Retention depends on the record category and purpose. Required accounting records are generally retained for six years after the end of the last relevant tax year. Information used to decide a rental application is retained for at least one year after that decision. Withdrawn or abandoned files are reviewed when their purpose ends; abandonment is assessed after 30 days without applicant activity when processing is no longer active.

Our operational limits are 30 days for ordinary activity logs and 90 days for security logs, measured from each entry. Incident records, decision records or legal holds may require separate retention. Account closure does not restart these periods. Minimal deletion evidence is retained for one year; markers preventing reactivation after restoration remain until affected copies expire or are destroyed. Backups are not individually purged on request; access remains restricted and deletions must be reapplied before restored services resume.

Choices and security

You can view or update available profile information and request access, correction or deletion of personal information. Uploaded files are those you choose to provide. The app uses the operating system's secure storage for sessions and access controls for shared records. No technical measure guarantees absolute security.
